Very nice place embedded in nature, directly on the Saale, with a beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the water. A small rapid adorns the course of the Saale. The restaurant is a bit older, but absolutely functional; the music over the loudspeakers dates back to the early 1970s. The food was very good, we were in a group of almost 30 people and everyone was very satisfied, the food is freshly made and homemade. Very tasty, whether soup, main course or dessert. The waitresses are very nice and helpful. 5 stars from me.

The food was truly delicious, even if the salad dressing was a bit sweet. Unusual dishes and plenty of homemade ingredients and liqueurs. The service was extremely friendly, courteous, and competent. The prices are on the lower end for this quality. We'd be happy to come back.

Large restaurant that is now getting old. It is in an idyllic location directly on the Saale and a great destination for excursions by bike or motorbike. We actually only ordered drinks and the operators went crazy, as they say. Fresh local apple juice is even offered here. Our littlest had fries and they were okay. Unfortunately, it is difficult to get a seat outside on sunny weekends and public holidays.
