The Stadtcafé is an institution in Achern; I used to go here as a teenager. The ambiance is elegant and chic, with a truly kitsch feel, complete with stucco, little angels, and chandeliers. There's a wide selection of cakes and everything else that contains calories. Breakfast is comparatively expensive but good. Parking behind the building makes the café easily accessible.

Vile coffee poured from a large container. Tasted as if it had been prepared hours ago and kept on the burner. For 2.80€ I would expect a fresh cup of coffee.
