Great view and Wine! The staff is friendly and food is extremely delicious. Do not miss to try the Brizza and Flammkuchen. Those were the highlights. 5 stars for the good hospitality by the staff.

What do you get when you date a pretzel with a pizza? That’s right — the bizarre, brilliant creation they serve for dinner here. Flammkuchen-style, but with sausage, bacon, and a crust that looks like it came straight out of a Bavarian cookbook. Pretzel crust. Really. We sat under a parasol, looking out over rolling vineyards like you’ve just accidentally walked into a postcard. Aperol in one hand, dog chilling under the table, sun in vacation mode. Service? Friendly. Price? Okay. View? Ridiculously beautiful. And yes, even the dog got more attention than I did here — and rightly so. Conclusion: If you ever want to know what it’s like to be in a German Tourist Board commercial, book a table at Weingarten Castell. And order the pretzel pizza. Your life before and after will never be the same.
