My first experience was not so good. The service is friendly but the food is not so special. I had ordered Spinatknödel with Bergkäse which came with the potato purée but the cheese was already mixed with the purée. It became boring to eat after a while. The other dish ordered was also not so good; they were nice enough to have nit include it in the bill. But the overall experience was not so pleasant. They need to improve the taste of their food.

The food was excellent. Down-to-earth Bavarian cuisine. The waiters were always there, friendly, and always ready with a quick joke. The ambiance is fitting for a Bavarian restaurant.

We were there last night, just the two of us. The special of the day was spare ribs, and I had half a duck with potato dumplings, red cabbage, and some gravy. The duck was very dry, and the gravy had absolutely no flavor—definitely no taste of duck. The service was very friendly and quick. Unfortunately, the restaurant was a bit smelly, even sweaty at times.
