If you want good authentic greek food go to Naftilos.Wonderful traditional atmosphere with exceptional staff, super friendly and funny! Food was amazing too, wonderful starters and juicy grilled meats. If you find yourself in Heraklion i can only suggest you give this restaurant a try!

Authentic and delicious Greek restaurant. The Shrimp Saganaki was absolutely perfect: rich, flavorful, and cooked just right. Although the wait was a bit long, it was well worth it for the quality of the food. Totally recommended. Chef also offered some tsikoudia after the meal. Great experience.
