We are an Italian family, we have always gone on holiday to the Greek islands. Since 2007 we have been going to Kythira and every year our first stop is Dimitri, Panaretos restaurant. Excellent cuisine, friendliness and for us the best Moussaka in Greece!!

Absolutely top restaurant in this cosy little village. Ask for the specials— everything tastes like it was prepared with love by somebody‘s grandmother. The local Potato salad with Kritama was a hit, as well as the Paputsakia and Fasolakia …

I personally believe that the food from this tavern is without a doubt the best on the island, this was the second time visiting Panaretos and it was as wonderful as the first time, the place was hospitable and the people working there will welcome you with a big smile, Summarizing I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
