Eerily fascinating place with an intense feeling of Isolation, embedded in spectacular scenery. The whole setting is something you wouldn't expect in europe. The drive there fits the experience with countless turns and potholes. Coming from roccaforte, the last few km are gravel road, but still the slightly better Option imho.

As for 12.06.2023 there is a huge land slide and the road is blocked approx. 2km before Roughudi. Carabinieri advised us to try to get there from Bova.
