If you ever find yourself in Sant'Angelo a Fasanella, you have to eat at Michele's. He cooks simple dishes himself, everything fresh, and he stays calm even in the midst of chaos. His Sugo al Pomodoro is the best around. Don't be put off by the outside, just sit down and say you're hungry.

Mr. Michele is truly a very kind host. We had a truly delicious pizza for dinner, cooked to perfection and topped with excellent, authentic local ingredients. We'll be back as soon as possible.
