Had a great meal at this Italian restaurant in Rome with no wait even without a reservation. Started with bruschetta, then had pasta and lasagna—everything was tasty and well prepared. Dessert was simple but satisfying. Service was friendly, though it took a while to take the order.

Ok-ish place. Not very expensive. It is open for late lunch which was key for us. Portions are not big but food quality we had was just fine. As the place was not busy it was a very quite and relaxing experience
Picnaria Foodies
Good ragu pasta. However the cacio e pepe was the worst I’ve eaten so far since I moved to Rome. Sauce was watery and would not stick to the pasta. Too weak on cheese also. Would not recommend, there are several better options in Testaccio region
