Stopped by on our way back from a hike, we had a snack of lard sandwiches, truly delicious, with warm bread and delicious lard. We returned for dinner and were satisfied, with excellent and plentiful dishes, as traditional as the ambiance. Recommended for those who appreciate simplicity and goodness.

Don't be intimidated, the food here is excellent. I recommend the polenta crostini with lard, their specialty. Generous portions, fair prices. The waitress and the owner are very friendly. The atmosphere is rustic, unchanging over the years, but I appreciated it because it's authentic.
