If you're en route from Pisa via Grosseto into the Maremma and looking for a place to stop for lunch then this is a great option. Not far off the main highway and serving good Tuscan food from a chalkboard menu. Local food and atmosphere.

In the middle of nowhere, there’s this small restaurant run by the “Nudolf” brothers. The ham and mozzarella plate was authentic, as well as the cooking atmosphere inside. And the main dish, tagliatelle al cinghiale, was absolutely worth the wait, it was divine. When I’m In Campagnatico again, this is my first spot to go to.
