You can't get more local and traditional than that. Authentic Italian recipes at reasonable prices. The horse with pasta, the chickpeas with broccoli and the meatballs are a must.

A lovely restaurant in the beautiful town of Martano. The food was very good. We had a large starter to share, pizza, huge salad, chicken, local vegetables, horse meat. We would go again any time. One thing is for sure, you have to book a table in advance, the restaurant is very busy. The staff are very attentive and friendly.

Very local. You will find this lovely Osteria a bit outside of the old town. Easy off street pay-per-hour parking outside and around the restaurant. Note that pizza is only served at dinner time, but that shouldn't stop you from grabbing a nice lunch with heaps of options to choose from.
