A great place on Texel to have an affordable bite for lunch. Good Frech fries with tasty curry sauce and typical Dutch meatballs in breadcrumbs. Nice local beer, too, ( though bottled) whether white beer or lager! The waitress was really pleasant despite our inability to speak Dutch.

HORRIBLE MUSSELS smelling of sewage and fecal! 🤢🤮 Above this, the mussels were full of sand and not properly cleaned, I have never seen this in my whole life and I am regular mussels eater. We returned the meal and didnt have to pay for it, but we were very anxious about getting intoxicated. Definitely dont go there for mussels. …
