Of you want a very good taste of javanese-surinam cuisine and indonesian cuisine. Then this is the place to go. This hidden gem in the center of Schiebroek, is a treat to go. Prices are very good, the home made sambals are great!! I would recommend it to anyone.

I had the "red" chicken sandwich, the cod sandwich, and the shrimp sandwich. All three were excellent. The place has a great atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommended!

We had a delicious meal at Tokootje. The stools by the window were free, so instead of ordering takeout, we decided to eat there. Barbara and Clive are doing their best in the kitchen to make sure you come back soon. Keep up the good work! See you soon.
