I enjoyed this historic taberna, with its picturesque setting and rooms furnished with objects from the past. Authentic flavors and traditional dishes. The only flaw is the lack of adequate air conditioning; some rooms are really hot.

I had the octopus with the bread crumbs and I loved it. I usually don’t like having much bread in my meals but this is something else. For dessert I had the pudding with port wine and bacon. The pasteis de natas are my number one as coffee pastries and now pudding is number one ☝️ for dessert.

Very nice restaurant in an unexpected place, a particular environment seems to be in little caves, few tables, old objects rich in history. Food is of good quality, good list of wine, nice service and good price. Just one note the card machine works only with Portuguese cards.
