The food is authentic Portuguese. All home made. Grilled chicken is the house speciality. The view from outside on the veranda is spectacular. On a clear da, you can see Ferugundo and the ocean beyong. If you are up on the Monchique, this is the place for lunch.

My wife and I stopped here for a lunch- dinner while exploring the mountain. I had read the good reviews. Being tourists, we opted for the “tourist” choice on the menu. It was fantastic- and filling. Salad to dessert prepared with love. Hope to come back soon.

The food is super good and the view is amazing. I can highly recommend the chicken soup, the tuna steak, and the chicken stew with cherry. Unfortunately they do not have nice desserts, they are all frozen and they just heat them up.
