We have had dinner at this restaurant twice. Both times the food was very tasty and the portions were generous, the price is also reasonable. Initially the staff seemed somewhat grumpy indeed, but after a while there was some friendliness and even a smile ;).

If you want a genuine island experience, you can't beet Lucy's. If possible, try and make the special frango barbeque on Fridays,, when it can seem as half the island is there. The terrace looks over the ocean and the islands offshore. The quality of the food is high, and the prices are low--a great combination.
