We were here for lunch. A local tavern owned by a nice couple. Excellent grilled sea bass. So fresh the owner showed the fish before grilling. The sangria was also very good, a little sweeter than normal, but the berries flavor provides better flavoring. Total bill for 2 was 21 euros. Cash only.

Really local place with delicious not expensive Portuguese dishes ! I can recommend the cod fish and the salad with shrimps ! The staff is lovely and really sympathetic. In this place you can really feel that you are in Portugal!

Simple but delicious food makes Casa Mara well worth a visit. Sardines grilled perfectly on a small BBQ and served with a tomato salad and fries. Add in a glass of wine and a beer and you will still have change from thirty euros for two people.
