When you walk in, it reminds you of a traditional bar, one of those that opened back in the 70s or 80s. But the food is incredible, 100% homemade and hearty, just like it should be in the north. The service is fast and attentive. The restrooms... Well, that's a different story, but the food is worth going for.

I went during the week, and I suspect the food is better on weekends. The cocido montañés had less meat than in the photos in other reviews, not particularly tasty, and they were out of cachopo. The flan was very good, and the ragout was also very decent. The bathrooms could be improved.

I was surprised to find a place from the "deep" Spain of old, from way back... Where the food was perfect and the staff a little overwhelmed, perhaps because of the date, because the weather wasn't very helpful. In short, old... But authentic.
