What an amazing building. I cross my fingers that the Ribera Sacra area becomes recognised as a National trust area and more money will help to restore this wonderful place completely. Our guide was great.

A truly beautiful and impressive Cistercian monastery. I'm not giving it 5 stars because the exterior cloister is in deplorable condition. I've been told that part of the monastery has passed into private hands and is in such a state of neglect. A real shame. The photos of the cloister are of the exterior, which is in poor condition.
