Albergue Restaurante de Artieda : C. Luis Buñuel, 10, 50683 Artieda, Zaragoza

We stopped for our midday snack here and what a beauty this place is: hanging on the edge of the hill overlooking the Pyrenees. It is a private albergue with the best sandwich I remember having in a long time!

The people who work and volunteer here are amazing. Very hospitable and helpful. It felt like family! The food was great, bed was comfortable. I wish them all well!

Would have loved to give 5 stars but we had booked a table on the terrace well in advance because we were bringing a guest and would have really enjoyed the views. But then they seated us inside, no explanations or compensation given, despite free tables outside. A real bummer. Still good food and lovely people.
