Great beachside location, though the outdoor chairs were uncomfortable - curved into your back. Waiter was freindly and there were a few vegan options, but the food was a basic quality and it took a while to arrive. Decent portions though. They weren't allowed to provide tap water apparently so you have to pay if you want water/a drink.

Oddest experience. Ordered two cocktails and got two mocktails but couldn't prove it other than, I rarely drink and find a half pint of beer makes me merry. I would blow clear on a breathalyser test after mine! …

The food is excellent, and the owner and the staff are very friendly. We always enjoy having meals and drink at The Boardwalk.
