We visited here a few times for lunch, while staying in nearby L'estartit. It became our go to lunch venue. We found the menu del dia to be excellent value, using fresh ingredients and well cooked. Great friendly and helpful service. We enjoyed our visits here.

Deep in the old town of Torroella de Montgri, but still only a short walk from free public parking, Fonda Mitja is a conversational hub for locals. Hearty Catalan food is on offer in their Menu del Dia. Pleasant and helpful staff. Reservations by email highly recommended as all tables were full on Thursday.

Lovely family meal with attentive customer service, spoiled by bout of food poisoning from calamari. Still recommend though and 3 course 22 euro menu good value
