I went to El Pocho in Rheinfelden for dinner with my family and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The service was friendly and efficient, and our food arrived surprisingly fast. As a steakhouse, they do their meat well—my entrecôte was cooked exactly as requested and tasted great. Perhaps it makes sense to add some vegetables or greens to the side in addition to the potatoes that is served with the steak. What really took away from the experience, though, was the charge of €3 for some extra sause. That felt excessive. Still, a good spot for a quality steak dinner—just be mindful of the condiments!

There are parking option on the main road but better to go to the back road (Pfarrer-Herrmann-Weg) where they have more dedicated parking available. The staff os very nice and helpful. However, unfortunately the kitchen isn’t good. The starter chorizo was burned the outside but rare in the middle. They rushing the food. The same with the steak, ordered it medium and it was very bloody. So bad as the filet looked great otherwise.

Very good restaurant! We had -of course- a delicious 300 gr. Argentine steak with some rice and potatoes. We also tried the Pisco Sour and it was amazing! We will definitely come back! 😻😻😻
