Seegarten (Hotel, Restaurant) : Seestrasse 66, 9320 Arbon

The Missus and I along with our Canadian Westcoast cycling group had a wonderful stay at the Seegarten Hotel in Arbon. The hotel is located on a beautiful park like setting albeit surrounded by newly constructed modern buildings. The hotel is also very close to the main bike trail around Lake Constance. The check-in was very welcoming and our bicycles were stored in a large room at the basement level accessible by steps and a ramp. Our hotel room was very spacious and clean. It was very nice to have a complimentary cold drink after a day of cycling. Our group had a delicious dinner in the restaurant sampling a variety of dishes. The server was very patient with our questions and attentive with service to our table. In the morning, we had a tasty breakfast in the same restaurant that provided our group fuel for our last leg of cycling.

We stay there for a long weekend and it was much better than I expected. When we arrived we tried to order some food from the bar but they couldn't make us some sandwiches with ham and cheese because there was no sandwiched like that in the menu, but there was ham and cheese separately... anyway, the rooms weren't ready until 3 o'clock in the afternoon, but was ok. The room was big enough and with two floors, perfect for us four. We had dinner at the restaurant and I must say that was really nice. The garden around the hotel it's perfect for the kids to run. If you are traveling with kids, there is a play room big enough to spend the dead hours if the weather isn't good. Waldo take a walk to the lake through a forest and the kids enjoyed a lot. There are enough Parking spaces for cars and for bikes. The personal was nice with the kids and there were always willing to help. The room was very clean as expected. I personally found the price a little bit expensive, but at the end was all worth it.
