We sat in the restaurant, which had a quaint, rustic atmosphere reminiscent of a typical village pub. We both had the fitness platter, one with cordon bleu, and I had the medium-rare beef fillet. Both were delicious, the fillet as tender as butter. The various salads were dressed differently, and the best part: a jar of wild garlic pesto, ketchup, herb and garlic butter was brought to our table. The friendly service, the nice chef (presumably the boss and his wife), and the fair price were perfect for us.

I would agree with that, it's good commoners. We had liver with rösti and a mixed salad. Salad OK, rösti too. The livers were too floury for me and the sauce had no kick. The highlight came at the end because we wanted to pay by card... then the landlady said that wasn't possible because she didn't offer it. We then said to her that perhaps she should also note on her homepage that she only accepts cash. So all in all, it's certainly not a restaurant that I would have to go back to because it was so good...if I drive past on my bike and I'm thirsty, okay, but not for anything else.

A wonderful country inn with excellent traditional food. Urs runs the kitchen, Martha waits the tables and keeps the customers happy. We were a larger group and despite the varied requests, the kitchen was able to cope. They have a nice terrace as well and unbeatable prices. I recommend
