Yesterday, four of us went to dinner again at Brotegg. As always, the food was excellent from Chef Peppo, who, in addition to his culinary delicacies—the Kaiserschmarrn is a must—serves a wide range of Austrian cuisine from his homeland as well as modern dishes like poke and pinsa. The wine selection offers perfect wines to accompany the fine dishes. When the weather's nice, you can also sit outside. Since it's outside the city center, you can always find a free table—a true enhancement to the dining experience in Frauenfeld.

Excellent, fresh, top-quality cuisine, a select wine list with Austrian gems, a very friendly and witty host, a beautiful backyard garden for dining in good weather, and excellent value for money considering the quality offered. Highly recommended. A highlight for Frauenfeld.

The Brotegg bistro is an absolute asset to Frauenfeld and the surrounding area. Freshly prepared food that tastes wonderful, new menus every week, friendly, uncomplicated and warm staff, relaxing and beautiful feel-good atmosphere, public transport on the doorstep. The best thing: the desserts, definitely try them out! Everything is just right in Brotegg.
