Ristorante Arbostora Morcote : Riva da S. Carlo 16, 6922 Morcote

I start the review by stating that the location of this restaurant is exceptional, there is a large lounge with an unmissable view of Lake Lugano. The venue, also having a hotel, has many parking spaces available at the back (and some being modernized on the lake front). This is a family-run restaurant with impeccable service. The order and cleanliness are excellent. The well-stocked wine list is excellent with excellent vintages and labels. The food is very good and the dishes are refined and well prepared. The only flaw I found is the value for money. The price for the prawns and scallops dish cannot be justified (3 prawns and 2 scallops with a courgette garnish). Dessert is also very expensive. If it hadn't been for the quality/price ratio I would definitely have given it 5 stars. For the rest, congratulations on the management, order and cleanliness! I will definitely go back but I will pay close attention to the prices.
