The castle is much larger and more complex than it looks from the outside — a true labyrinth of rooms, towers, and hidden corners. Its rich history, from medieval fortifications to prison cells and ducal residences, is brought to life through well-placed information panels and optional audio guides. We especially appreciated the mix of original architecture and carefully restored sections. Highly recommended for history lovers, families, and anyone looking to explore one of Switzerland’s most iconic landmarks!

Absolutely breathtaking experience at Chillon Castle! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by its stunning lakeside setting and medieval architecture. Fab, can easily spend a couple of hours exploring the castle, and a really interesting history, from dungeons to towers. And then you can go across the road to explore the fortress built into the hillside. Its a great day out
