We drive from the UK to Italy each year and staying here is always a much loved highlight of our trip. The food is exceptional. The very best steak and fries possible. Beautiful wine. Breakfast is all home made fresh and delicious. Excellent coffee and they even refill our flask. The rooms are simple but very comfortable and we all wake well rested. Stunning views. Plenty of hot water for a great shower. We have just left rested and replete and are already looking forward to next year.

Good, but only meat! After several years we decide to return with the family to celebrate the anniversary, once we arrive they immediately seat us at the table. The first thing we notice and which we were disappointed about is that they only have meat piadina and no longer have a menu card or even pizza, at least they could have warned us on the phone. So let's order: - Pioda style beef fillet with side dishes - Pioda beef entrecôte with side dishes - Trio of piadina fillets with side dishes We ate the typical meat served on a very hot stone piadina, the meat always very good, tender and of high quality, side dishes worth reviewing, I would have liked to eat a few more vegetables and perhaps a little rice, but there were only French fries. Unfortunately, as already mentioned compared to several years ago, they no longer have a menu card and the only choice left is carne alla pioda. They don't even make pizza anymore, too bad, the restaurant has gone so far behind. The service is good but the prices have also increased. Finally, we ordered a delicious and delicious homemade pear and chocolate cake. Another problem is that once you finish eating you come out with a fried smell permeating all your clothes. 5 stars for the meat, 2 stars for the service and the scarcity of menu paper and 2 for the place. We will perhaps return again, but clearly if they don't expand the menu a little it will only be for meat. Thanks anyway for the excellent dinner.

Brilliant nights sleep, food and wine was great, breakfast was included with the room excellent, friendly, clean and very hospitable. We try and stop by every year on our drive down to Italy. Splended views of the mountains and valleys, …
