Ristorante alla Cantina : Piazza Gottardo Zurini 1, 6652 Tegna

We spent our family vacation (with kids) in Ticino and chose to stay in Tegna at Alla Cantina – and we’re so glad we did! The rooms were really nice, and we had a big terrace with a beautiful view. From the moment we checked in, Sabrina and her team were super welcoming and helpful. The restaurant was a real highlight – amazing food with the flavors of Sicily, which we absolutely loved. The whole place is set on a small square with a fountain where the kids played happily all day until very late, which made things even more relaxing for us. Everything about the stay felt warm and cozy, like being at home. Any extra request we had was no problem at all – the service was simply great. Big compliments to Sabrina and her staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We’d definitely come back!

Charming and tastefully decorated place with attention to detail. It has its own parking and a lovely courtyard, located near the main road and the train station. Soft background music adds to the relaxing atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and helpful, service was good overall. The menu is short but offers enough options. Starters and salads were nice, but mains were rather average — we had slightly higher expectations given the Michelin Bib Gourmand mention. The biggest downside was the slow kitchen: it took over an hour to receive our main dishes after the appetizers. From what I’ve read in other reviews, this seems to be a recurring issue. Since we weren’t in a rush, it was fine this time, but something to be aware of.

Very beautiful place , amazing people and service, the food is even really good if you want to travel to Sicilia, highly recommended . We will come again …
