As long-time visitors to Grotto da Peo, we were very excited this year to see what awaits us under the new management of the grotto. Always enthusiastic about the location and the view (which hasn't changed over the decades), we were very surprised by the culinary changes at da Peo. From the former authentic grotto food and menu to a culinary experience of the highest quality. A visit to Grotto da Peo is still worthwhile today – a little more expensive than in previous years, but definitely more than worth the price! Thank you to the entire team, we felt very comfortable with you and will definitely continue to visit Grotto da Peo!

We recommend this restaurant! You must wear sneakers (no heels) because you have to walk along a small path for 7-8 minutes. The view and the experience are incredible! The roads leading to the restaurant are very winding and narrow; they also offer shuttles (for a fee). The wine list is very good, and so is the food!

Simply fantastic! The Grotto da Peo is an absolute insider tip – everything is just right here from A to Z. The cuisine is outstanding: authentic, fresh, and prepared with love. The service is warm, attentive, and very professional. The ambiance is also beautiful – a typical Ticino grotto, cozy and full of charm. We felt completely at home and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
