Locanda La Pignatta : Via Str. Nuova 50, 6822 Arogno

Nice little "locanda" with just 7 rooms and a small restaurant. We stayed for one night, rooms were not big but clean and well taken care off. The owners were very hospitable and thoughtful, for example thinking along for one of us that cannot eat gluten. Dinner was exceptionally good with typical Ticinese (remembers me of Lombardy cuisine 😉) specialties like Osso Bucco and a veal stew, both with surprisingly tasty polenta. Highly recommended.

Exceptional!! We chose to eat the carbonara risotto, very good and delicate on the palate. The sweet beer tiramisu, a real delight that we recommend trying because it is one of a kind.
