120+ years old cafe with beautifully maintained interiors. Excellent pastries and coffee. Recommend 'The cloud' pastry- lemon meringue with mango and the 'Shakerati' cold coffee. Excellent service, no hurry to close or usher us out even though we left almost at closing hour.

Really loved this pastry shop, I have been here multiple times but never missed one. For Switzerland the prices are not even high and the quality is top. Definitely recommend.

We like the Grand Cafe so much we went three times while in Lugano! The chocolate croissant was one of the best I've had in Europe and my niece said the cream croissant was the best she's ever had! We ordered the European hot chocolate and regular hot chocolate both with whipped cream. They were delicious! We also had a mango and chocolate mouse dessert that was divine. The interior isnart deco and very inviting. The staff is friendly and efficient.
