Villa Selva : Via Tesserete 36, 6900 Massagno

Absolutely perfect stay - comfortable super clean rooms, cosy characteristic villa atmosphere, delicious dinner , lovely staff and hostess, great garden and views! First but defenitely not the last time, without hesitation.

Although room was simple, it was clean and roomy, had a comfortable bed, with fantastic view. Nice pool with grape vines and lush grounds. The Food Was EXCELLENT with herbs picked from the garden. Bus stop in front only 5 min to main …

I booked a room after reading the great reviews. Unfortunately, however, I was a little disappointed. No control for what concerns COVID certificates. No mask requirement. The room and the hotel itself are clean but the floors in the rooms was white carpet with dirt stains impossible to clean. The breakfast is acceptable. Unfortunately all the tables in the evening were occupied so we could not eat in the restaurant. The owner is elderly, friendly but not very fit. You have to be patient because she does all the administrative work. The location is very good. Some rooms overlook the street and you can often hear the ambulance . I chose the hotel to be close to the station. For vacation in Lugano I would choose another hotel.
