Old school in the best sense of the word.

The meat was among the best I have ever eaten (it cuts like butter!) and generously served with vegetables, matchstick fries and especially this time I had a morel sauce, excellent! I chose a homemade rabbit terrine as a starter, delicious and beautifully presented. We come here in the fall for the Hunt but all year round the Swiss meat is of very high quality, tender and tasty. Perfectly cooked vegetables, and choice of several sauces. The pretty terrace is above the river and magnificent! It is worth the detour, I came from Geneva especially! The hosts are very welcoming and kind, restaurant open only on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Restaurants of this level are rare!! Seasonal cuisine, fresh, with fresh products, very welcoming owners working with love, you feel at home! It's always a pleasure to stop at Le Chamois, and we just want to come back! Not to be missed! Remember to book, open Friday and Saturday evening only.
