Got a great tip: a lot of things are closed in Murten on Sundays. Short train ride to Faoug. Super nice restaurant, very cozy garden under the vines, with cool hostess Silvia, very fine food, tender meat and fair prices. Be sure to pre-order Chinoise a discretion (CHF 39). We can only recommend it!

The dishes were not only delicious, but also reflected the attention to detail. The fine desserts in particular are a real treat for the palate and round off the culinary experience perfectly. The coffee was of excellent quality and was a successful ending to the meal. Another plus point is the availability of sufficient parking spaces, which makes the visit stress-free. The fact that dogs are welcome gives the restaurant a particularly hospitable touch and makes it a place to visit, even if you have an animal companion with you.
