We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant! The service was particularly attentive, always with a smile and attentive. The relaxed atmosphere and warm setting really contributed to our great time. The food was delicious: the perch fillets were of high quality, although a little more butter would have been welcome. As for the fries, they lacked a little salt, but nothing dramatic—you just have to add more yourself. Everything else was simply perfect. We had the pleasure of dining at "La Petite Folie" in Grandson on May 7, 2025, for a group meal for 15 people after a visit. And what a wonderful surprise! This local restaurant, also known for its pizzas, won us over. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was perfect. Despite the size of our group, the waitress was remarkably kind and professional, always attentive to our needs. The service, although a little slow (which is completely understandable for a large group choosing à la carte), was very efficient. We will consider requesting a set menu next time to streamline the service! A big congratulations also to the owner, who was attentive and very open to constructive feedback for his new establishment. The food was delicious. I opted for the perch fillets, which were of excellent quality, with perfectly balanced flavors and a delicate presentation. My friend ordered the octopus, and he found it fantastic. One small detail worth noting: his dish was missing a sauce, and the chef responded immediately by offering a suitable sauce, demonstrating exceptional responsiveness and customer service. The portions were generous, and when I asked for an extra, it wasn't charged, a testament to the excellent service. The ambiance and setting are also excellent. The decor, which has been redone, is modern, bright, and very pleasant, providing an ideal setting for any occasion. The atmosphere was friendly, and we were able to fully enjoy our meal as a group, even though the restaurant was very busy. The noise level remained perfectly adequate given the crowd. Finally, the cleanliness of the premises was impeccable. A practical point to note: the restaurant is open 7 days a week, which is very convenient. However, parking can be difficult, so keep this in mind during your visit. In summary, "La Petite Folie" offers a first-rate culinary experience. The prices are fully justified by the quality of the cuisine, the impeccable service, and the renovated and very pleasant setting. I highly recommend this place!
