I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Le Tablier in Bussigny in the industrial suburb of Lausanne. I had the special of the day: pasta with truffle sauce. Cooking was ok but sauce was generally average (not much truffle tasted).

I would like to give it a sixth star! Everything was absolutely perfect, they are funny, the food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable considering the quality. Bravo!!! 🎉

My godfather's 90th birthday. Usually closed on Saturdays, open to groups of more than 10 people. M were offered 2 menus. Dishes prepared with delicacy, very well presented and delicious. Everyone was delighted. Welcoming and friendly owner, chef having worked with various great chefs including Paul Bocuse, accessible and happy to talk, family-friendly, you immediately feel at ease there. Parking available. Well centered and at the same time barely visible.. Really deserves to be known!! They also have theme evenings, to see on their site. Thank you very much, we all had a great time!
