Was a bit disappointed by the food, as it lacked seasoning and the menu is really focused on red meat and pork. I also found portion of fish in the fish platter quite small. However, the service was good. We were nicely welcomed and the lady who served us knew the menu really well and was really nice! I would suggest that place for an afternoon coffee/dessert on the terrace or if you’re a meat lover.

We had a wonderful experience at Café de Chavannes in Renens, Lausanne! We enjoyed both aperitifs and dinner, and overall, it was a lovely evening. The staff were incredibly kind, polite, and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The quality of both the food and drinks was excellent, and everything was well-prepared and flavorful. While we found the prices slightly high compared to the quality, the warm and friendly atmosphere made the experience enjoyable. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy a nice meal, and we would recommend giving it a try!
