If you found this hotel, you might have been looking to find a place outside of Geneva, or you wanted to save a few dollars while traveling around Switzerland. Certainly both can be accomplished, but at a little bit of an inconvenience depending on what your goal might be. The hotel is located on the other side of the mountains so Google tends to be off (actually, WAY off in Switzerland with most routes) which means add 20-40 minutes for any trip on top of the Google estimate. The hotel is located by a very quiet lake which is excellent if your goal is a quiet getaway. This area is mostly French speaking. The staff was friendly, but only a few people actually spoke English. They did their best to communicate when no one else was available, which was very much appreciated. Switzerland pretty much shuts down on Sundays so if you're checking in that day, don't plan on seeing hotel staff in the evening. They'll have a key left out for you near the stairs. There are VERY FEW places to find food in the area after about 8pm or on Sunday, so have snacks. The rooms are clean, a bit older, but I have no complaints with the comfort. I wish they had a separate rating for the restaurant. This place was a TOTAL SHOCK. The food was outstanding, not cheap, but worth what I paid. I had a steak with soup. Do NOT skip eating here. The hotel in no way reflects how amazing this place is for food quality. Bravo. The breakfast was quite good. All the essentials to include eggs and bacon as well. It was well done and setup early in the morning to get your day started. Overall, it's a quiet and clean hotel. Good food, but it's not worth the drive if you plan on going back and forth to the Geneva area. Not a fault of the hotel, just my own observation. Plenty of outdoor activities in the area due to the lake, but plan on driving a bit for any "city life."

Amazing location, great food. Definitely value for money if you’re looking for a simple, clean place to stay close to beautiful nature

We had a super clean room with a large balcony facing the lake. Although the place is not the most modern one, we felt very comfortable due to the friendly staff and the spacious, light room. The breakfast buffet offered tasty, crunchy breads and good coffees.
