La Villa : Rue du Lac 75, 1815 Montreux

Enjoyed a relaxing long weekend at the Villa with my husband and 11 month old. Everything on the property is beautifully and thoughtfully maintained with direct gated access to the lakefront promenade. The alpine lake views from our room were unparalleled - whether standing in the shower, sitting on the toilet 😅, laying in bed, or sitting on the window seat. Food was excellent - standard European breakfast and delicious Mediterranean dinner fare. It can be challenging traveling with a 👶🏻, but the staff were wonderful, especially our server at breakfast (a lovely young woman whose name I did not catch) and Roman, our primary server at dinner. Dinner seating is not until 7 which was not ideal for our baby, but Roman took our order immediately and made sure things moved along smoothly for us. It was well noted and very appreciated.

We had a wonderful lunch at La Villa, spending a sunny afternoon on the beautiful patio, celebrating our wedding anniversary. The setting right on the lake and the views are out of this world. The food was delicious and the service excellent and attentive at all times. We will be back soon.
