Restaurant La Fontaine : Rue Dr-Schwab 2, 2610 Saint-Imier

Pizza Romana was delivered very quickly. The pizza is really good, never soggy, with choice toppings, and the dough is 👌. And the delivery guy is super cool. I highly recommend it.

Good Pizza. Generally quite nice. BUT pretty unprofessional staff: Yesterday we agreed with the guy from the Reception that we would pay in the morning after we would have exchanged money. All good. Then in the night, when we wanted to go to our room, another staff stopped us in a very unfriendly way and didn't want to let us go to our room unless we would pay. We told her that we could either pay in Euros that very moment OR pay in CHF in the morning. It took them a long time to decide for the Euros. We were told that we seemed untrustworthy with quite a lot of aggression. Pretty annoying.

We were on the mountain and all the Hotels were closed, so we had to find a place to stay over night - this was the only choice we knew. The hotelrooms had it's last renovation anno 1970. The beds were not very long - with a board at the end, the roller blade wouldn't close - stuck after 30cm, the shower head was totally calcified - water in all directions, but not on the body. The TV, most channels didn't work, bad picture quality. He wanted to charge us CHF 140.-, I recommend no more than CHF 100.- / doubleroom. Pizza in the restaurant was great.
