The restaurant is absolutely fabulous. They have a brunch on Sunday mornings which exceeds any expectations. The chalets are nice and tidy although the access could do with asphalting as it becomes very dusty. It’s relatively close to the ski resort of Anzere and there are nice walks directly, accessible from the chalets.
Very friendly and attentive staff ❤️ Chalets are cozy and fully equipped with everything you may need (cleanliness 10/10). Perfect for big families or groups of friends! Incredible mountain views all around and proximity to beautiful hiking trails. What we loved the most is the American BBQ in the restaurant! Those pork ribs just melt in your mouth🤤
Arriving for a short vacation with prepaid option guests probably wouldn't have a chance to cope with negative sides of this place - otherwise for long term rent since it's a very affordable price, this place has attracted quite a bunch of irregular persons as residents with pretty anti-social traits (lots of alcohol, dangerous environment, weed, smoke, burning fires ourside with lots of smoke all around coming inside neighbouring houses as well), so taken the "festival" is endless every day till 2am and local police is not reacting claiming there're fights somewhere around (but for real the people of the region just cooperate and police is simply sabotaging all claims), it's very likely that a normal person not under effect of drugs or drinking alcohol excessively would get quite very fast tired of neighbours behaviour while 2 floor chalets are really very close to each other both vertically and horisontally, and the larger same-level chalets feature 180 degree exposure of the windows and balcony, so that very minimal level of privacy is regarded - it's basically like living in a vitrine. Again, why problematic local people have all inhabited this place - you simply don't get a house, a considerably decent duplex and be unsupervised by civilisation for such modest amount here around. So it was probably a good idea this Woodland however managed very badly unfortunately and now in dicline loosing last signs of class... Seems like all the previous one-sided positive reviews are arranged. This one is honest.
