After a bit of a drizzley day, a walk through Sion, nothing could end the day better than a beautiful Fondue 🫕 with Family, and this was the spot! Excellent service and tasty Fondue was the way to go and you will not be disappointed!

A gem for meet lovers. Here you can find meats from the famed cattle of la race d'Herens. You also have a panoramic view of the town of Sion and the surrounding mountains. A nice wine list to go with it all and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

I like this authentic eatery placed on a shelf high above the city of Sion in Wallis. The owner also raises the famous black val d'Herens cattle used for combat but I do not know if the meat he serves originates from his animals. Nevertheless, besides eating well you can also study a very interesting book on these animals and their owners while digesting your meal over an after dinner drink...
