A jewel in a beautiful setting. In the old town of Saillon, we discovered the Caveau de Saillon. A magnificent place to taste local wines from around ten winegrowers with a lovely Valais plate from the cellar. The welcome was very warm with informed advice on a cute terrace in the middle of the medieval village. We really feel on vacation, a sublime setting, very calm and stress-free, to recommend 👍🏻🥂

An essential stopover to taste the know-how of local wine producers. A special mention for the Fendant, very pleasant to enjoy on the terrace in the shade of the parasols on this quiet square.

Very pretty wine bar/wine cellar. Super nice service. There is the opportunity to taste 4 different wines from Saillon . There is no need to book in advance and you don’t have to be a large group. We could have stayed forever!
