The Tanne restaurant is located in the hamlet of the same name between Wädenswil and Schönenberg. We were warmly greeted by the host, who also cooked, and looked after in a friendly and attentive manner throughout the evening. Since we were the only guests on this Monday evening, the waiting times were very short and the food and drinks were served very quickly. For starters we had a selection of antipasti. It was good, but not top quality, but we didn't expect that at these prices. The main courses were once great (the grilled pork schnitzel with Gorgonzola sauce and gnocchi) and once OK (the fish plate with frozen fish, which was also relatively dry). The portions are huge and the prices are very fair. It certainly wasn't a culinary flight of fancy, but it was solid Italian "home cooking".
