Au pied de cochon : Chez Mattraz, 2117 La Côte-aux-Fées

Review from December 2024: We had a bad experience in the past. But we went back and noticed a great improvement, to the point of being delighted not only with the food but also with the welcome and friendliness of the customers. How pleasant it is, well done because we had a lovely time. Today, I recommend this little mountain restaurant. The day we went, it had snowed heavily, and the white landscape was magical. Review from a 2 or 3-year-old waiter: Living nearby and knowing the opinions of the villagers, I don't understand the rating and all those who claim that we are well received. The owner is pleasant, but Madame is always sullen and sometimes responds badly to customers. Besides, she is known by the nickname "Madame Smile"! That says it all. The food isn't worth the detour. If people go there, it's because, unfortunately, it's the only refreshment bar in the village. It is claimed that restaurateurs sometimes buy good reviews... So I ask myself the question
