La Florentina
It was used to be a gastronomic restaurant awarded 2 Michelin stars. The chef decided to have the stars removed for reasons of too many costs to bear, too much pressure etc. but assured patrons to continue enjoying the good food provided. With this background, this restaurant was chosen to celebrate my birthday and we tried the most expensive signature tasting menu available. The view of Lake Leman was great. However, similar views could be enjoyed in all restaurants located around the Lake. Free parking was available just outside the restaurant and similar services were also provided by other restaurants along the lake too. The services of the staff were good but not very attentive. The food quality was good but nothing exceptional. The charge of chf160 per head without the pairing of any wine was not value for money. We could have spent the same amount elsewhere with better quality and perhaps quantity too.
