Panoramarestaurant Muottas Muragl : Muottas Muragl, 7503 Samedan

We had a truly wonderful experience at Panoramarestaurant Muottas Muragl. My children (ages 9 and 12) and I took the funicular up before starting our hike, and decided to stop for lunch at the restaurant, and we’re so glad we did! We even ended up going a second time because we liked it so much. The kids’ menu was honestly the best I’ve ever seen. It went far beyond the usual burger and fries. Instead, it offered real, thoughtfully prepared dishes, just in kid-friendly portions and flavors. It encouraged my kids to explore foods beyond the typical chicken tenders or fish sticks, and they absolutely loved it. It was refreshing to see a menu that respected young palates while still keeping things fun and approachable. I had the Caesar salad, and it was hands-down the best I’ve ever had. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, moist, flavorful, and cooked just right. You could really taste the care in the preparation. The service was equally impressive. The waitstaff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always had a smile, which added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, great food, stunning views, and a very family-friendly environment. Highly recommend it, especially as a pre- or post-hike meal stop!

Unbeatable views, nice people, great food. I can recommend the roast beef sandwich with toasted sourdough.

I visited this restaurant a few times, the food and service was always excellent! The atmosphere….. there is not much to top it, Muottas Muragl has probably the best view in whole St. Moritz! Worth a visit!
